Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 November 2025
Welcome to Yeed (“Yeed”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of yeed.co.nz, our online store, and related services (the “Services”). By using the Services you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Services.
1. Who we are
Yeed is a Whangārei-based microgreens grower. Contact: enquiries@yeed.co.nz.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be 18+ to place an order. If you create an account, keep your login secure — you’re responsible for activity under it.
3. Products & availability
Our products are fresh and may be seasonal. We may limit quantities or change/discontinue products at any time. Photos are indicative only.
4. Pricing, GST & currency
All prices are in NZD and include GST unless stated otherwise. We may update prices at any time. You’ll see the final price (including any delivery fees) at checkout.
5. Payment
We accept payment methods shown at checkout (e.g. card, Apple/Google Pay, Stripe). By paying you confirm you’re authorised to use the selected method. Orders are only confirmed once payment is received.
6. Delivery & pickup
-
Area & timing: We deliver around Whangārei (typically CBD + ~10 km) on scheduled runs (usually Mondays).
-
Cut-off: Orders placed by Friday are targeted for the next delivery run.
-
Fees: Delivery options and any fees are shown at checkout.
-
Risk & title: Title passes when we receive full payment. Risk of loss passes on delivery to the address you provide or on pickup.
-
Access: You’re responsible for providing a safe delivery location and correct address details.
7. Subscriptions & bulk pricing (if enabled)
If you set up a repeat order, it will renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel before the next billing date. Bulk or multi-buy pricing is applied as described on the product page or at checkout.
8. Order changes & cancellations
Because our products are harvested to order, changes or cancellations may not be possible once an order is confirmed. If you need to make a change, contact us promptly at enquiries@yeed.co.nz and we’ll do our best.
9. Returns, refunds & your consumer rights
-
Perishable goods: We don’t accept change-of-mind returns on perishable items.
-
Issues on arrival: If something arrives damaged, missing or not as described, email us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and photos. We’ll repair, replace, credit or refund as appropriate.
-
Your rights: Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under New Zealand law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
10. Allergens & handling
We grow microgreens only and handle them with care, but we can’t guarantee the absence of all potential allergens outside our control. Please contact us before ordering if you have specific concerns.
11. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the Services, interfere with their operation, try to access other users’ data, or use the site in a way that’s unlawful.
12. Content & intellectual property
The Services and all content on them (including the Yeed name and logo) are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. You may not copy, modify or use them except as allowed by these Terms.
13. Third-party services
We use third-party platforms to run our store and process payments. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use those features.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for any claim connected to the Services won’t exceed the amount you paid for the relevant order. This clause doesn’t limit your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
15. Privacy
We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Services you consent to that collection and use.
16. Changes to the Services or these Terms
We may update the Services and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll post them on the site with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use means you accept the changes.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. You and Yeed submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
